Tap Match

Privacy policy

Effective 14 October 2026

This policy covers Tap Match: Speed Champ (“the app”), published on Google Play by BlueGreen Studios. In short: the app does not collect, share or sell any personal data. If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games, your scores are sent to Google for the leaderboards.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app has no accounts of its own, no adverts, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not ask for permission to use the internet. The only thing that leaves your device is what you choose to share with Google Play Games, below.

What the app stores on your device

To keep your progress between games, the app saves on your device:

  • your best scores and the highest level you have reached
  • your settings (sound effects, haptics and colour-blind mode)

This stays on your device. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data in your phone’s settings.

Android also holds a game in progress for a short while, so you can carry on if it closes the app in the background. That is discarded when you close the game yourself.

Google Play Games (optional)

The app has leaderboards through Google Play Games. If you sign in to Play Games, which the app may do automatically if you have used Play Games before, the app sends Google your best scores: one overall and one for each category. Google shows them on the leaderboards with your Play Games name and avatar, to the people your Play Games settings allow.

Play Games is run by Google under Google’s privacy policy. Google may also collect diagnostic and usage data about Play Games itself. BlueGreen Studios can see the leaderboards, like any player, but not your email address or Google account. You can play without signing in, and you can delete your Play Games data for this game, or your whole Play Games profile, in the Play Games app or your Google account settings.

Device backups

If you have turned on Android backup, Android may include the app’s saved scores, level and settings in your device backup to your Google account, or copy them across when you set up a new phone. That backup is made by Android, not the app, under Google’s privacy policy, and you can turn it off in your phone’s settings.

Google Play

Google handles downloads, updates and any crash reports you choose to share through Google Play, under Google’s own privacy policy. BlueGreen Studios only sees the anonymous, aggregated statistics Google provides to developers.

Children

The app itself collects no personal data from anyone, including children. Signing in to Google Play Games is subject to Google’s own rules for children’s accounts.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed.
