BlueGreen Studios

Privacy notice

Effective 16 October 2026

This notice covers the BlueGreen Studios website, bluegreenstudios.co.uk, run by Matt Burnett, who publishes apps as BlueGreen Studios (“we”). Each app has its own privacy policy: Fuel Tracker and Tap Match.

Analytics, only if you agree

With your agreement, the site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Until you choose “Accept analytics”, nothing from Google loads and no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics records:

  • the pages you view, how long you stay and how far you scroll
  • the page or site that sent you here, links you follow off the site, and files you download
  • your device type, browser, screen size and language
  • your approximate location (town and country), worked out from your IP address

Google Analytics does not store your IP address. We don’t use the data to identify you or for advertising. Google processes it for us, and may do so outside the UK under its own data protection safeguards. Google Analytics deletes the detailed visit data after a set period of at most 14 months; only totals, such as visits per page, are kept after that.

Cookies

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets two cookies, each lasting up to two years:

  • _ga, which tells one visit from another
  • _ga_WPFJJNLW3R, which keeps track of the current visit

The site also saves your choice in your browser’s storage so it doesn’t ask again. That is not a cookie and is never sent anywhere.

Changing your mind

Use at any time, also at the foot of every page. Rejecting stops the analytics and deletes its cookies. Clearing this site’s data in your browser does the same.

Hosting

Requests to the site pass through Cloudflare, which protects it from abuse and speeds it up, and processes your IP address to do that. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available for this; Cloudflare keeps its own records only as long as it needs them for that. The site’s own server does not log visits.

Your rights

The legal basis for analytics is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
